Thought it was about time I at least update that we are all moved into the new house. Big Blue, we call her. ( I just decided she was a girl, has a nice ring to it doesn't it). Moving sucks. No other way to put it. The physical exhaustion was worse than I imagined. Grant it moving from a tiny apartment to a tiny house with no kids is a bit different than moving from a house to a bigger house with 2 kids, 2 dogs, and a cat.
Sadly, the camera did not make the move in one piece. Man, I really hate it when electronics break, its like burning hundreds of dollars. Because even if your kid doesn't beam it into the hardwood floors, its bound to break or stop working eventually. Anyways, guess thats a story for another day.
Back to the move. I have no photos to show of it and none of the new house. We are somewhat settled in though, considering its only been 2 1/2 weeks. Basically both Andy and I are unable to function if the house doesn't feel like home with in a day or two. So basically we have done nothing besides unpack and set up the house since we moved.
Andy did build a fence. A sweet little picket that wraps all the way around the .12 acres of our little yard. He impressed me, he really did. He dug something like 24 post holes (not to brag, but I did about a whooping 1 1/2 all on my own:)
The house is amazing. Totally an adult grown up house. All our furniture fits like it was always meant for the house. Mainly, I am loving living in a neighborhood. All the walking with the kids and dogs, all the runs discovering new streets lined with cute houses.
Until we can somehow get a new camera, my blogs will be kinda lame.
